If the point of the update was to have multiple tiers of high stakes maybe it would make more sense to have something like High Stakes (10k) and Higher Stakes (500k) so Competitive still can be accessible practice. A fee on competitive kinda takes that away since its harder to find casual matches, the rank in competitive offers a feel for progression and improvement, and the fee punishes noobs the most since they are the ones that need the practice most but are the least likely ones to make their fee back.

From the perspective of a noob competitive LMS was really nice because it made practicing tribridding accessible without losing tons of money in the wildy just to even get a feel for it.
